I am so sorry I have not been posting on here! It’s really nice to return to all these notes though. I haven’t been painting my nails much and my schoolwork is keeping me really busy. With the spring collections out, I’m going to try and get a few colors and get swatches posted. Thank you for continuing to follow this blog!

Talking about nail polish.
Essie Smooth Sailing
I love this color. Can I just continue on about how pretty it is? I wore this a few weeks ago and received a ton of compliments. It’s a periwinkle color with a TON of multi-color shimmer running through it. When you look at the bottle it reminds me of the ocean when the sun hits it. It applied nicely and stayed on really well without a top coat or base coat! This was two coats. I believe you can still find this places and if you’re considering purchasing it, just buy it because you will not regret it!

OPI Ski Teal We Drop
It’s been a while since I’ve posted on here. I have a few pictures saved and ready to be posted as well as a few polishes that need to be put on here.
This is from OPI’s Swiss collection from last fall(2010) and it’s a dark cream teal. I bought it hoping it would be like the bottle, but it’s a bit darker. I’m okay with it and I like that you can tell it’s teal in most lighting. It applied extremely well and took two coats.

Essie Van D’Go
Two coats! I’m so happy about that. Usually Essie polishes take me around three coats to receive a nice, opaque finish. After using it for a full manicure, I found it to be very bright. Van D’Go is a nice peachy-pink color. A good color for summer.

Index and ring: Essie Van D’Go
Middle and pinky: Essie Mint Candy Apple(showing up a bit too bright here, I’ll be posting a full review later)
Stripes done by white nail art nail polish
It looked a lot better before I added flowers, so that’s why I’m not posting it with the flowers.
yes
They’re both from the Insta-Dri line and the one on the right in the picture is Petal Pusher(sheer french manicure kind of color) and the other is a limited edition spring collection one called Pink Blink. I’m pretty sure you can still find the limited edition one because I recently saw them at a Target. If you would like me to post swatches of these just ask!
p.s. what are those pinks? The Sally Hansen ones?
OPI - Done out in Deco
This was a nail polish from OPI’s 2009 Summer Collection. It’s a dusty lilac color, but it is lighter than Parlez-Vous OPI?. Definitely a “spring/summer” color. This is a 3-Free polish and has the classic OPI wide brush. Easy application and this took 2 coats. I recently heard that this was discontinued, but I’ve seen many bottles at beauty supply stores.

Friend’s nails.
The thumbs look like Arizona green tea cans. I have no idea what polishes she used, sorry!
